About the project

In 2023, Jeremy delivered a national programme of bid writing training to partners and associates to help raise win rates and drive efficiency in winning work

The Challenge

Through undertaking a maturity benchmarking exercise with the board and further research and data analysis, we found that the business could improve its win rate and make efficiencies in cost of sale nationally across their offices. A change in their governance, process, approach and mindset was required.

The Solution

Jeremy coached their CEO, head of public sector and their new KAM lead in developing more robust governance on bid qualification and accounting of cost of sale. He was then commissioned to help start a transformation initiative by conducting a national tour of their offices, designing and delivering bid writing training sessions for their partners and associates.

The Result

The business has noticed a marked improvement in win rate and reduction in cost of sale, with “hobby bidding” greatly reduced. The business has begun to team more effectively with partners for key framework pursuits and contribute well to joint strategic bids. And quality scores on major and tactical bids are greatly improved

Jeremy has supported me for a number of years on a variety of work winning activities from training and strategic advice on bidding through to maturity modelling and process creation. His knowledge of the built environment market and how to win work from consultancy and contractor perspectives is excellent”
