AI-Powered Bid Writing: The Complete Training Course
A one-day, five-part programme that shows leaders, bid and capture teams exactly where AI genuinely helps across the tender lifecycle.
Most bid teams are already using AI. Not many are using it well. Generic drafts that read like every other bidder's submission. Confidential client data pasted into free tools without a second thought. Hours spent fixing what AI got wrong instead of saving the time it promised.
This course fixes that. It gives your team a proper process, not just a few clever prompts.
No hype. No vague "AI will change everything" waffle. Just a structured, practical course built around real UK public or private sector bidding, with prompts, templates and frameworks you can use on your next tender.

AI in Bidding and Winning Work
Jeremy has taken a keen interest in the implementation and leverage of AI in winning work and bidding. He has worked with a range of clients on their approach to analysing their needs, specifying and procuring AI enabled bid platforms or the use of non-bid specific platforms (Co-pilot, Claude, etc). He is a board advisor to Bid Management and Writing platform BidScript and partners with a collection of AI enabled bid writing consultancies in their development.
The key lessons he’s learned is that AI is an enabler. It must underpin a robust best practice bid process, with clear roles and responsibilities and good communication.
25 years of experience
Jeremy Brim brings 25 years of experience as a capture and bid management professional across both the public and private sectors. Leading successful work winning functions spanning professional services, outsourcing and construction - Jeremy has secured an enviable collection of high-profile projects, programmes and frameworks with blue chip clients around the globe.
Early on his career Jeremy developed a specialism in UK and European public sector tendering, in both central and local government, which is still called upon today. The robust compliance driven nature of public sector proposals provided a great grounding to expand his experience in to the private sector, securing large scale frameworks and programmes with corporate clients.
For more than 15 years he has led business development, capture and tendering training programmes for Directors, Partners, Associates and Graduate schemes.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. The course is built for bid and capture professionals and their stakeholders, not technologists. If you can use a web browser, you can do this course. We start from the basics of what AI actually is before moving into practical application.
Do I need any AI experience to do this course?
1
We focus on the underlying skills, ie: prompt engineering, structuring evidence, running a proper review process, rather than teaching one specific platform. Those skills transfer across ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or whatever your organisation has approved. We do recommend bringing access to your own organisation's approved tool for the hands-on exercises, not a personal or free account, given the confidentiality content we cover.
Which AI tools do we use on the course?
2
The course is built around real UK public sector tenders, ie: ITTs, SQs, the Procurement Act 2023, because that's where the compliance and evaluation rules are most specific. That said, the core skills, ie: compliance extraction, evidence-based writing, structured review, apply just as well to private sector bids.
Is this only for UK government and public sector bidding?
3
Will this replace our bid writers?
4
No, and that's not the point. The course is built around a simple idea: AI can extract, structure and draft faster, but the judgement, the relationships and the final verification stay with your team. We spend real time on where AI genuinely helps and where it's a liability if you're not careful.
As a one-day, in-person or virtual workshop, split into five parts. It can also run as a modular series if that suits your team's schedule better, ie: split across several shorter sessions rather than a full day.
How is the course delivered?
5
Yes. This is the most common way we run it. We will run a design call with you ahead of delivery to tailor the examples and exercises to your sector and your own live opportunities where possible, so the team leaves with something directly useful rather than generic case studies.
Can you deliver it in-house for our team?
6
A roadmap to the development of working prompt library, templates for capture briefs, compliance matrices and storyboards, a repeatable three-pass writing process, and a clear view of what should and shouldn't go near an AI tool. It's a working toolkit and runway, not just a set of slides.
What will my team actually leave with?
7
How many people can attend?
8
The course works for a single bid team or a wider group across your organisation. Let us know your numbers and we'll confirm the right format and pricing for your group. But we try to keep groups to between four and 20 people.
